Magnuson Building

Services Provided: Preliminary Design 

A local network systems company commissioned Brittell Architecture Inc to design a two story concrete building to house their network equipment and offices. The building is adjacent to the Cowlitz River and is partially constructed in the river diking district. The idea was to design a basement level that could serve as parking and that would raise the main part of the building above the 100 year flood level. The use of concrete construction alleviates the concern for deterioration that is common near water.
