The owner of Chinook Sales and Rental, a John Deer tractor company, needed a new building. After leasing for many years, it was his desire to own his building. Wanting to build a pre-engineered metal building yet give it some style, he came to Brittell Architecture for the design of the new building. The approximately 12,000 sf building includes a retail area, offices, parts storage, shop area and mezzanine. The inclusion of a covered walkway and entrance along with heavy timber and beams and columns and stone wainscoting brings the front of the two-story building down to human scale at the public entry.
